I have not
attended a MACo meeting.
·
Have only
attended one. It did not relate that
closely for me as county superintendent of schools.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
Please add your other
comments regarding the MACo organization, additional services, publications and
recommendations for activities and/or seminars. How can we serve you better?
·
Good job overall. We feel you are trying to provide all the services you can. Thank you!!
·
With more topics of education/interest for
Clerks of District Court.
·
I applaud the leadership of Harold Blattie. We are treated (as “local” officials) with
respect and importance.
·
Your comprehensive salaries and benefits survey
of all the counties was extremely well done and very helpful.
·
You all do a great job!
·
I think the conferences could be a little
better. Would like more information and
committee meetings at different times.
However, I am just a Clerk & Recorder.
·
I have been a county school superintendent for
four years. I attended the MACo
orientation training, which was a good introduction to County Government. A better-organized sectional for County
Superintendents would have been helpful.
A clear delineation of duties of elected officials in regard to school
finance would be helpful for all elected officials involved in the
process. The MACo office was very
helpful in the one situation I contacted them about two or three years ago.
·
Keep up the good work—I know personally without
the help of MACo, my first year as an elected official would have been
“HELL”!!!!
