Helena-In the wake of the terrorist tragedy that has struck New York City and Washington, D.C. today, Governor Judy Martz has requested that all Montanans consider donating blood at their local Red Cross Center.

"First and foremost, please pray for the victims, their families and this country," said Governor Martz. "Please keep in mind there is an incredible need for blood in those areas most devastated by these tragedies. Donating blood is a way that Montanans can help, and directly impact the efforts to save human lives."

For information on how and where to donate, contact your local Red Cross, or call 1-800-GIVE LIFE.
