(Salt Lake City) - Governor Martz's Economic Opportunities Office has joined forces with Great Falls, Billings, Butte and Flathead County to promote Montana as a premier business destination at CoreNet's Global Summit this week.

Montana is hosting a booth as a part of the Summit's Corporate Real Estate Marketplace, with the goal of informing companies of the opportunities available to relocate their business in the state.

"Montana simply is not currently on the map as a business destination," said Chief Business Officer Dave Gibson. "This trade show provides the opportunity to recognize the key attributes of locating in Montana - our great workforce, outstanding communities, and quality of life."

The Global Summit features a wide variety of corporate real estate management services, including strategic planning, workplace design and management, facility/property management, leasing and lease management, site selection, environmental issues management, engineering and construction services and financial analysis and services.

Joining the Economic Opportunities office are John Kramer, representing Great Falls; Joe McClure, representing Billings; Jim Smitham, representing Butte; and Liz Harris, representing Flathead County.

"This is truly a team effort, and we are excited to be working with these communities to represent Montana as a whole," said Gibson.

Participants will be at the exhibit through Tuesday, May 7. For more information: http://www.idrc.org/corenetglobal/summit2002/exhibits.htm.
