This publication, Montana Subdivision and Surveying Laws and Regulations, has been periodically published and updated as a service to private and public parties involved in the land subdivision process, by the Community Technical Assistance Program at the Department of Commerce.

Prior to this issue the publication was prepared by persons at the Department of Commerce and in particular by those in the Community Technical Assistance Program. The Board of Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors, in conjunction with the Joint Powers Insurance Authority of the Montana Association of Counties, provided the funding and the personnel to prepare this issue.
