What is an RSS feed and how will it help me?
RSS means: “Really Simple Syndication”
What this means is that you can subscribe to receive updates concerning Building Codes related issues or topics. You do not have to recieve unwanted emails or continually visit websites.
You sign up for the only the information you want and receive a simple notification that new information is available.
You will need to install a simple RSS reader (which is free) allowing you to receive and read RSS news feeds. Once the RSS reader is installed on your computer you will need to subscribe to the RSS feed you are interested in.
The Building Codes Bureau, in accordance with Title 50, Chapter 60, and Title 50, Chapter 74, MCA, establishes and enforces minimum building (including accessibility), plumbing, mechanical, electrical, energy, elevator, and boiler codes.
Codes are adopted and amended through
Title 24, Chapter 301 of the
Administrative Rules of Montana.
