Montana Broadband Speed Test

Thursday, September 29, 2011 3:26:03 PM

How Does Montana Use It?

Gathering speed data is one of the steps in identifying and actually measuring the need for new broadband services in Montana. The Montana Broadband Program is encouraging Montana citizens to help in its data collections efforts by participating in on-line speed tests. This information assists the Montana Broadband Program - geared to increased economic development, educational opportunities, public safety and national security.

How Can You Use It?

To take the test, go to the Montana Broadband Speed Test, answer the simple questions and click the speed test button. The web-site will then display your Internet connection speed, while collecting data to help the state map broadband availability.
