Montana participates in the federal/state electronic filing program, a
cooperative effort between the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and state revenue
agencies. You can prepare and submit your federal and state tax returns
electronically at the same time. A personal computer with Internet access offers
two options to electronically file your federal and state tax returns
online.
