New Climate Change Website for Montana
On Earth Day 2008, Department of Environmental Quality Director Richard Opper introduced the public to the new MontanaClimateChange.mt.gov. The website features information, tips and resources on reducing carbon contributions for homeowners, students, and business. Site visitors can learn how Montana's economy and natural resources may be affected by a changing climate.
Unemployment Insurance Employer Registration
Department of Labor and Industry Commissioner Keith Kelly has announced the launch of a new eGovernment service that will help employers register online with the department's Unemployment Insurance Division. UI4employers.mt.gov gives employers the ability to immediately obtain their unemployment insurance account number. "UI4Employers offers a secure, easy, and efficient alternative to paper registration," Kelly said.
Montana Tobacco Use Prevention Program Phone Survey
The Montana Tobacco Use Prevention Program is conducting a random phone survey of Montana citizens from February through April. This is your opportunity to voice your opinions about issues like the Montana Clean Indoor Air Act. All respondents are anonymous and all answers are confidential.
